Pre–sue + Court Action - the Typical Route to recovering your debt

We are always on hand to discuss with you a bespoke solution to your debt recovery needs but as a rule of thumb the following route is the most common:

Step 1 – Sending a Pre-Sue Letter

Get the Ball Rolling…

Generally the ‘jumping off’ point is to submit a Letter Before Action (LBA/pre-sue letter). We send a letter to your debtor demanding payment within 7 days. After this you may want to instruct court proceedings, although there is no obligation to do so. You will see from our testimonials that many of our clients have recovered thousands of pounds by just having us send this letter. Moreover, at £3.00 + vat, with no commission on recoveries your financial exposure is minimal!

So to ‘kick-start’ your recoveries simply Instruct a Pre-sue Letter! What have you got to lose?

If you’d like to see a sample pre-sue letter email us at info@debtscotland.com and we’ll email you one over.
