So you’re a Financial institution with regulated/unregulated agreements?
Recovering a debt from an individual can be difficult. On the face of it your debtor may appear to have little assets. However, we are able to offer the following services to greatly aid your recovery success:
- Consumer Credit Debt:
- Asset Recovery:
- Vehicle repossessions
- Heritable repossessions
- (inc. house valuations)
- Asset Recovery:
Asset Recovery – we are able to recover assets which are regulated under Consumer Credit Legislation. This includes vehicle repossessions and heritable repossessions (freehold), all maximising the chances of making a successful recovery. For example, our property searches allow us to ascertain if your debtor owns their own property and we are able to gain indications of the property’s value. For vehicle repossessions we are able to determine the registered keeper of the vehicle and whether the vehicle is subject to any finance. If the vehicle has been purchased on Hire Purchase moves can be made to repossess the car.
Therefore, through experience we have found that your debtor may well have more assets than first thought!
If you are interested in any of the above please email us with your query to info@debtscotland.com and we’ll be happy to provide you with some bespoke advice.
